Berthold Kastel - Founder - CEO

Bert began his SAP experience in 1990, when he started with SAP in Walldorf, Germany. He has extensive experience with SAP software both as a manager and a developer. After leaving SAP, Bert founded Backsoft with the intent to provide open solutions for enterprises trying to move into the world of E-business. Bert has spoken at many Industry Conferences and has co-authored many leading papers on developing E-business and leveraging business methodology on the Internet.

Bill Morales - CFO

Bill brings extensive experience in international financial management to Backsoft Corporation, having assisted large corporations as well as many small businesses and startups over the past 15 years. Bill has served as Divisional CFO for Smith+Nephew Plc and Nabisco, and has general management experience with Nabisco’s international commodities trading company. He has acted as interim CFO for several high-tech startups during initial stage financing. He brings to Backsoft special skills in strategic planning, acquisitions, treasury, tax, and budget management.
